A complete helium bubble visualization system is a generator, a light source, and a supply of air and helium. Every component below is manufactured, tested and calibrated by Sage Action.
Not sure what you need?
Generation
Helium-filled, neutrally buoyant bubbles of controlled size, in single or double output. Micro-metering valves set bubble size, specific weight and generation rate independently per output. 300–400 bubbles per second per head, 1–4 mm, in a rugged Pelican case at 9.5 kg.
Illumination and measurement
Cermax high-intensity xenon short-arc lamps with a built-in modulator. Independent on-time and off-time from 1.0 to 50 ms turn bubble traces into dashed streamlines for real-time velocity measurement. Available in 400 W and 500 W.
Illumination
Portable tungsten-halogen illumination with iris and adjustable-slit apertures, on a ball-head tripod adjustable from 0 to 165 cm. 1.6 kg without the tripod.
Supply
An oil-less piston compressor and a rechargeable helium cylinder in a wheeled Pelican case, with a transfill manifold. 20 hours of single-output operation, 10 hours double.
Consumable
The proprietary soap-film formula the generators are built around. Non-toxic, water- and glycerin-based, one-year shelf life. In stock.
Send us your test conditions — velocity, volume, and what you’re trying to visualize — and we’ll tell you what configuration fits, and what it costs.
